American Financial Realty Trust (NYSE: AFR) won the Building Owners and Managers Association's Midwest Regional Competition for office building of the year for managing St. Louis' Bank of America Plaza.
Archstone-Smith (NYSE: ASN) announced the promotion of Rick D. Jacobsen to senior vice president and treasurer.
R. Kent Griffin, Jr., previously with Raymond James & Associates, has taken over John F. Wilson, II's role as chief financial officer at BioMed Realty Trust (NYSE: BMR). Wilson has been appointed executive vice president of operations.
Christopher P. Tessitore has been promoted to general counsel for Commercial Net Lease Realty, Inc. (NYSE: NNN).
Russell Platt has resigned from his position as chief investment officer at Dividend Capital Investments. Dr. Glenn Mueller will assume many of Platt's duties. Platt has also resigned as portfolio manager to both the Dividend Capital Realty Income Fund and Dividend Capital Realty Income Allocation Fund (DCA). The portfolios will now be managed by both Amitabh Gobha and Charles Song.
Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT) announced several management promotions. Don Briggs became senior vice president, development; John Hendrickson is the vice president, strategic transactions, Vicki Quinn is the new vice president, marketing and corporate communications; and Wendy Seher is now vice president, leasing.
FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (NYSE: FCH) announced several executive changes. Thomas J. Corcoran, Jr., formerly president and CEO, has been appointed chairman of FelCor's board of directors. Richard A. Smith has succeeded Corcoran as president and CEO. Andrew J. Welch has been promoted to Smith's former position, executive vice president and chief financial officer. Troy A. Pentacost has been named the company's executive vice president and director of asset management. FelCor also announced Jack Marraccini as the new senior vice president of engineering, Melissa Kendrick as vice president of project management and Kenneth Callihan as vice president of corporate engineering.
Nayan V. Kisnadwala, former senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of the consumer finance and business lending division of Fieldstone Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: FICC), has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer for the company at large.
Gerald A. Pientka has been named the new executive vice president, development for First Industrial Realty Trust (NYSE: FR). Johannson L. Yap, the company's chief investment officer, received the Illinois Real Estate Journal's 2005 Commercial Real Estate Excellence Award.
Health Care REIT, Inc. (NYSE: HCN) announced the promotion of Scott A. Estes to senior vice president and chief financial officer, Charles J. Herman, Jr. to executive vice president and chief investment officer, Jeffrey H. Miller, executive vice president and general counsel, Eric C. Ibele, senior vice president of administration and corporate secretary and Michael A. Crabtree was promoted to vice president and treasurer.
Richard Moore and his team have left KeyBanc Capital Markets for RBC Capital Markets, where Moore will serve as research analyst and managing director.
Jim Sullivan, a veteran REIT analyst with Prudential Equity Group, retired in February. Sullivan covered the REIT industry for 17 years. James Feldman has taken over Sullivan's position at Prudential as senior analyst.
The St. Joe Company (NYSE: JOE) announced the retirement of President and COO Kevin M. Twomey.
Andrew W. Gross has joined Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. (NYSE: SHO) as senior vice president and general counsel.
Former Senior Vice Presidents Richard A. Schweinhart and Raymond J. Lewis have been promoted to executive vice president, chief financial officer and executive vice president, chief investment officer, respectively, at Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR).
Windrose Medical Properties Trust appointed Paula J. Conroy to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer.
